Why neeed Directory submissions get rejected or stall
- Product is adult content.
- Product is a local service business (trades, salons, clinics, agencies serving one area).
- Submission fails the automatic check.
- Duplicate listing of an already listed product.
- Product is not software or a digital product.
Tips for a listing that gets approved
- Use the 'Prefill from your site' feature to save time, but always replace the auto-generated punchline and description with your own copy.
- If you choose Free, the badge is not enforced, but adding it is the only way to get a dofollow link.
- Premium is a one-time $19 payment, not a subscription, and gives permanent dofollow plus 7 days in Just launched.
- Choose the closest category; the directory has 35 categories including SaaS, AI, Developer Tools, and Productivity.
