Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Preview requests: the website address you enter, the listing we draft from it, and a one-way hash of your IP address used to prevent abuse.
• Orders: your email address, the product details, listing copy, logo and screenshots you provide, and the directories you choose to exclude.
• Payment: Stripe processes your payment and shares with us the payment status, amount and your email address. We never see your full card number.
• Order inbox: emails that directories send to the dedicated inbox we create for your order, such as confirmations and approvals.
• Analytics: privacy-friendly, cookie-free page statistics (pages viewed, referrer, country, device type).

How we use it

To produce previews, perform your order, send you your order link and updates, answer support requests, prevent abuse, and understand which pages help visitors. We do not sell your personal data and do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Your product details and listing copy are submitted to the directories in your order — that is the service. We also use service providers to run the Service: Cloudflare (hosting, storage and email), Stripe (payments) and language-processing providers that help draft listing copy. They process data only on our instructions.

How long we keep it

Order records, reports and screenshots are kept for as long as your order page is useful to you, and at least 12 months. Preview data is kept for up to 90 days. You can ask us to delete your data at any time; listings already published on third-party directories are controlled by those directories.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data, and object to how we use it, by writing to support@submitbyhand.com. If you are in the EU, UK or California you have these rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR or CCPA, and you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
